Discovering “Appreciating Education”

Research led us to “Appreciating Education,” a revolutionary concept by Mr. Zhou Hong, emphasizing every child's genius. Convinced, we attended a workshop in Guangzhou, experiencing a paradigm shift in our parenting approach.

The People Behind the Parendigm

Eric Lim, Co-Founder of Parendigm
Co-Founder

Eric Lim

Author, Speaker, Entrepreneur · Creator of the B.E.L.I.E.F. Framework

Eric never set out to become a parenting educator. He set out to figure out why parenting felt so hard — and twenty years later, he has helped thousands of families find their own answer.

Eric is a husband and father of two. His own parenting journey began like most parents' do: with love, good intentions, and a lot of trial and error. That search led him to discover what would become the B.E.L.I.E.F. Framework, a model he first tested within his own family before sharing it with others. In 2006, he worked with his teachers to translate and publish the national bestseller Appreciating Your Child, adapted from a Chinese original — a book whose concepts were later woven into Jack Neo's film I Not Stupid 2.

For the past 20 years, Eric has organised full-house conferences, parenting seminars, children's camps, and corporate talks across Singapore and the region, supporting parents in restoring connection at home and rediscovering the joy of raising their children. He has been invited to speak by the People's Association of Singapore, DadsForLife, schools, radio stations, and companies in Singapore and abroad. His work and entrepreneurial journey have been featured across leading Singapore media, including The Business Times and The Straits Times.

In 2022, Eric authored Parendigm – Rethinking Parenting: A Playbook for Creative Parenting, distilling two decades of work into a practical guide for modern families. Alongside Grace, he co-founded Parendigm to make that wisdom accessible to every family in Asia, and separately founded My Gym Singapore to bring active, joyful development to children outside the home. He also served as Vice President of a Franchising and Licensing Association and competes as a national dragon boat rower — disciplines that shape his belief that strong families, like strong teams, are built on consistency, not perfection.

Eric believes every parent deserves to enjoy this journey, not just survive it. His mission with Parendigm is simple: help families across Asia grow stronger, more grounded, and more resilient — one generation at a time.

Grace Low

Co-Founder & Program Director, Parendigm

Grace has spent her career in the space between what children need and what parents don't yet know how to give them — and she co-founded Parendigm to close that gap at scale.

Grace began her career in corporate consultancy, specialising in training and change management — work that taught her how to help people unlearn old habits and build new ones that stick. That same skill became the foundation of everything she has done since moving into children's development eighteen years ago, where she helped grow two international children's programs in Singapore from the ground up: leading curriculum, coaching teams, and working directly with families through some of childhood's most critical milestones.

Grace brings that same depth to Parendigm as co-founder alongside Eric, shaping how the B.E.L.I.E.F. Framework comes to life across Parendigm's programs, workshops, and the Monthly Parent Circle. Where Eric brings the framework and the story, Grace brings the structure — translating big parenting concepts into practical steps parents can actually use at home, and building the team and systems that let Parendigm grow without losing the personal touch families come to it for.

Grace believes the best change in a family does not come from being told what to do. It comes from being walked through it, one step at a time, by someone who has done the work themselves. That belief shapes how she leads every program, every team, and every parent conversation at Parendigm.
